Our Story
TARY — meaning "grain" in Kazakh — is a celebration of Central Asian culinary tradition. Founded , the restaurant brings the warmth of a Kazakh dastarkhan to the streets of River North, Chicago.
Every dish is rooted in memory: the morning smells of fresh flatbread, the ceremony of pouring tea, the slowness of a shared meal. We honor these rituals with thoughtful ingredients and honest cooking.
